Norilsk Nickel RAS net profit sinks 66% to 111 bln rbl in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel dove by 66% on the year to 110.975 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Friday.

Revenue dropped by 6.7% to 397.01 billion rubles, while the gross profit shrank by 28.9% to 142.96 billion rubles. The pretax profit declined 76.8% to 94.901 billion rubles.

The RAS report of Norilsk Nickel is not consolidated and includes only the figures of the Zapolyarny affiliate.
